Which of these teaching methodologies have you been exposed to in the past?
Which did you think is the most effective?

I have exposed Situational Language, Audio-Lingualism, Total Physical Response, The Natural Approach and Communicative Language Teaching methods so far and found out that Natural Approach and Total Physical Response methods were useful for pre-beginners, beginners level English language learners. For adults whose English level reach elementary, intermediate and advance levels, Audio-Lingualism, Situational Language and Communicative Language Teaching methods are quite useful and more effective. By and large, I think following only one methodology listed in the lesson didn’t give me enough confident as a professional English language teacher. Sometimes, my lessons had to be eclectic because of the country, people, culture, educational background and idiolect of the students. Moreover, I made a notice that Audio Lingualism is best suit for large classes where students had only a very little knowledge about the English language and where there were more disobedient students who do not know the role of students at all. The Audio-Lingualism give them better allure to the class without the teacher’s control.
