Objective:                Ss. will learn how to use business slang words, idioms they have learnt when speaking English to do
                                business, taking up the position of advertiser, public relation manager, working in mail order and trade
                                department, promotion manager, sales manager, salesman and saleswoman or as  marketing manager in a
                                company.

Choose a marketing channel from the list to campaign a product of your company. Construct your own conversation and do a play-acting classroom activity in group. Group A, B, C, D, E, F will randomly choose one of the following channels each and present the homework in the class.  All students in every group should participate.


1.
Advertising (TV, Radio, Publications, Billboards,
               technology).
2.
Public Relations ( have a meeting or job interview,
               appoint a person to be responsible for the position,
               and produce phone calls conversation for the
               business).
3.
Direct Mail (draw a plan, a meeting and write a short
               letter you are going to send out as stuffers. Act one as
               a sender and another one, receiver).

Bring your own materials.
Ss. should rehearse the activity that they do the play-acting very well in the class

4. Promotions ( decide how many kinds of sales
               promotion you can make to increase the sales volume
               this year. Consider preferred customers, coupons,
               hand outs, etc.)

Special Events (Have a meeting, discuss how you are
               going to present the product on a special occasion and
               give a speech on the product or have a short
               conversation on the stage.)

Sales Force (Plan a strategy to sell your products,
        appoint salesmen and saleswomen, and start selling
        your product to the class by talking to other
        students and finally, give sales report to the
        manager.)
